Skimlab
In-browser 3D sculpting tool for easier modelling based on simple shapes. Works can shared and remixed by others. Here is a video demo from a non-artist with their efforts from a 15 minute session:
Currently in Beta and can be buggy (maybe more so in Chrome), but this looks like it has much potential.
